Nancy and Angela Leoni from iLeoni in Petaluma will demonstrate how cookware and other essentials help simplify the meal preparation while seasonal decor turns your table into a Fall delight. Levi Leipheimer, the reigning US National Road Racing champion, winner of the 2007 Tour of California, winner of the individual time trial and third overall at the 2007 Tour de France, is turning 34!!! On Thursday, October 25th, friends, family and fans will gather at Risibisi to honor Levi and raise money for his favorite charity, A Leg Up Rescue. Levi and his wife, Odessa Gunn, are strong supporters of A Leg Up Rescue, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats from life-threatening situations. Join us to celebrate Levi's birthday with wine and antipasti at 6:30 p.m. and a bountiful Italian buffet served at 7:30 p.m. And be sure to bring your checkbook...a live auction begins at 9:00 with all proceeds going directly to A Leg Up Rescue.The featured auction item... an original portrait of Levi by renowned Marin County graphic artist, Michael Schwab. Each appellation produces its own unique vintage particular for its microclimate and terroir, equating to approximately 1,000 types of red, white and bubbly produced throughout the country. Join Club VINO for an in-depth exploration of Italy’s world-class wines. Marco will select two vintages to showcase per month and astound you with interesting facts and anecdotes on its region, character and centuries of wine-making traditions.
