Customer Testimonials 2010

“Loved both the food and the ambiance”

"Risibisi was recommended by the hotel we were staying at in Petaluma and my husband and I could not have been more pleased! Loved both the food and ambiance! The decor of the restaurant was simple, yet very interesting and the food was fantastic.

The service was also fantastic and the owner/manager came by our table to ask how we were doing. That was much appreciated and very classy.

We will definitely come back again next time we are in Petaluma."

— Erika S. (Monterey, CA) / YELP.com Review

“...sexy yet tasteful dining room...”

"They have created a sexy yet tasteful dining room with very simple decor here — I'm impressed.  I came in for a glass of wine and a late-night appetizer and found both to be delicious, exciting, soothing.  Do try the polenta."

— Jennifer R, (Oakland, CA) / YELP.com Review

“Really good food and definitely worth the money...”

"Romantic atmosphere. Attentive service. Really good food and definitely worth the money. Been there quite a few times and the quality is very high and consistent."

— Wayne N. (Santa Rosa, CA) / YELP.com Review

“We were duly impressed...”

"My husband and I had a late lunch there today. We each ordered from the $14.95 prix fixe menu. We were duly impressed. The initial offering is nice thinly sliced Italian bread with a yummy olive tepenade. I had their vegetarian minestrone. It was understatedly delicious. Very peasanty in the best way. My husband's white clam chowder was also delicious. He loved his seafood risotto, and I was happy with my salmon. The side of carrot/green bean souffle was divine. And even the biscotti for dessert was an especially good one. The atmosphere is nice, and so was our server. Because it is such a class act, I have given it 5 stars."

Risibisi is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always good, great service, and the specials are always so so good. My wife had the Chippiono, and said it was tops. It's her one dish(in a bowl) litmus test that helps her decide the quality of the food coming out of the kitchen. We are foodie types, from the barrio, we both grew up eating lots of ethnic foods, so our taste buds are well versed, not sophisticated, just food junkies with an attitude.

"Great find!!!! Service was friendly and efficient. Food was cooked to perfection, ambience charming, inviting and comfortable. And this is written by someone whose hobby it is to uncover small gems in cities throughout CA."

WOW!!! This restaurant is one of the best we've ever been to!! We were a party of four & from the moment we stepped inside, we were treated to one of the best dinning experiences we've experienced. The service was attentive & personable, THE FOOD OUT OF THIS WORLD and the wine list & somelier fantastic! The secret to this restaurant is that the Chef is a woman who is from the Northeastern part of Italy. Not only were out dishes fantastic, but watching what came out for the other diners, we knew we had to come back!!
We actually had come in about a month ago, just to have a glass of wine and some appetizers after a show opening @ Riverfront Art Gallery. We're glad we went back!

"Dinner was incredible. Large flavorful salads. The Gnocchi al Cinghiale were perfect... and what a generous portion! The Creme Caramel was the hit of the evening...

We will be back!"
